# DrumShare > Create, play, and share customizable drum practice patterns in the browser. Each pattern gets a permanent shareable link with adjustable BPM and bars. DrumShare is a free web-based drum pattern editor and player. Users build grooves on a step grid (kick, snare, hi-hat, ride, toms), play them with realistic sampled sounds, and share them via short URLs. The blog covers the stories and techniques behind iconic drum patterns from rock and pop history. Note for AI agents: the human-facing site is a JavaScript-rendered React app. Plain-text Markdown versions of every blog post are linked below (served as `.txt` so they render inline without executing JavaScript). ## Pages - [DrumShare editor](/): Build and play your own drum pattern, then share it with one click. - [Blog index](/blog.txt): Plain-text list of every blog post. ## Blog - [The Cure – Close To Me: A Minimal Groove That Says Everything](/blog/the-cure-close-to-me-minimal-groove.txt): How a stripped-down rhythm built on hand claps and restraint became one of the most iconic drum patterns of the 1980s. - [Muse – Hysteria: The Relentless Rock Groove That Tests Every Drummer](/blog/muse-hysteria-relentless-rock-groove.txt): How a soundcheck jam became one of modern rock's most demanding drum patterns. - [Toto – Africa: The Groove That Was Built, Not Played](/blog/toto-africa-groove-built-not-played.txt): How Jeff Porcaro and Toto constructed one of the most iconic grooves in pop history layer by layer in the studio. - [The Heartbeat of "Edge of Seventeen"](/blog/edge-of-seventeen-heartbeat-groove.txt): How Russ Kunkel's relentless 16th-note hi-hat groove became the engine of one of rock's most urgent songs. ## Optional - [Sitemap](/sitemap.xml): Machine-readable list of all indexable URLs. - [Human blog pages](/blog): JavaScript-rendered HTML versions of the posts above (same content).
